Our Local Paper Reaches Out for More Content...Since They Can't Produce It On Their Own

Our Local Paper (currently in chapter 11) grasps at survival by argreeing to share content with the Pensacola News Journal and the Tallahassee Democrat.

I suggest a story for the Northwest Florida Daily News to be their first investigative story to share with their two new partners:

Quote:

Dear Mr Rice:

On your content sharing: Wow, more lazy, poorly researched and biased leftwing journalism is going to make it into our newspapers. I can't wait to vet it!

By the way, have you seen this News report?

http://azcapitoltimes.com/azpolicywonk/tag/freedom-communications/

Darn, I thought only evil Wall Street Firms plundered their companies before going bankrupt..guess I was wrong...

Question: Do any of the three people below still work for Florida Freedom Newspapers, Inc?

Thomas Conner – Florida Freedom Newspapers
$30,000 (three MBO bonuses)
Karen Hanes - Florida Freedom Newspapers
$63,000 (four MBO bonuses)
Erik Thomason - Florida Freedom Newspapers
$18,000 (one MBO bonus)

If not, were they laid off (with severance packages), fired or did they just abandon ship?

Better yet, are any of Florida Freedom Newspapers, Inc going to put this story in any of their papers?

Was there any kickback of bonuses to others, a la Charlie Morris? Has anyone of your paper looked into this? Just want the truth...Just asking a question, not accusing...

I bet Chris Hughes would point to this as justification of handing out Performance Bonuses..Darn, makes it kinda hard now for you guys to go after him without first cleaning out you own house?

Now before you reply with one of your "witty repartees" or worse, ban me again and pull my posts as is your right (No doubt in the spirit of the First Amendment /s off). I'm just practicing the journalism of the future...informed citizens keeping an eye out for biased or corrupt MSM outlets... No doubt Freedom Florida Newspapers, Inc, now that you, personally, are aware of this, will publish this in your "Deadwood" papers and launch an investigation into any possible malfeasance at your company.

As "Director of Content for Florida Freedom Newspapers" I fully expect you to take the lead on this..and hopefully it will show up in the Pensacola and Tallahassee Papers As well! Would be a great Kickoff to your new content sharing agreement.

Cheers
ER White (aka BloggyBayou)
